After 2 years of suspension due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the EMMA Vietnam 2022 car audio competition organized by Otosaigon.com has returned with the largest scale ever. EMMA Vietnam 2022 is held in conjunction with Automechanika 2022, taking place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Unlike previous events that only took place in 1 day, EMMA 2022 will take place in 3 days from June 29 to July 1, 2022 so that more car audio enthusiasts can attend. Visitors will have more time to experience more professional car audio systems.
EMMA Vietnam 2022 has up to 52 cars registered to compete in 17 segments. This is the record for the most number of cars ever competed in EMMA Vietnam and promises to be attractive and thrilling with 97 entries. This number shows the development of the car market in general, as well as the car audio movement in Vietnam in the past few years.
Of the 17 categories competing at EMMA 2022, the Best of Sound category had the most participants with 28 cars. This category is chosen by many competitors because of the simple and easy format, and most importantly, Best of Sound is considered the highest prize that every contestant wants to win.
The cars competing at EMMA 2022 are also very diverse, from popular models such as Mitsubishi Xpander, Ford Ranger, VinFast Lux A, Honda Civic, Hyundai Tucson… to high-end and special models such as Toyota Land Cruiser, BMW X6, BMW 750Li.
Notably, in addition to the familiar contestants and garages who have participated in previous annual tournaments, EMMA Vietnam 2022 also has the participation of garages from far away Vietnamese cities such as: Mong Cai, Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh… In particular, this year also had the participation of independent competitors, not belonging to any garage or car audio shop in the Best of Sound competition segment. This shows the increasing attractiveness and diversity of EMMA not only to the professionals but also to end users.
Evaluating the quality of the contestants and the results of the EMMA Vietnam 2022, two international referees, Terence Nah and Marc Ayes, who have visited EMMA many times in Vietnam, said: “EMMA Vietnam this year is of increasingly high quality compared to previous events, quality in SQ and install has already caught up with other countries in EMMA. We are also surprised by the scale of this event and congratulate the success of EMMA Vietnam 2022.”
