EMMA Philippines successfully staged a comeback competition and show in cooperation with the Manila International Auto Show, held from 7 April 2022 to 10 April 2022 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, Philippines. The Event’s tagline #SettingGearsInMotion was an apt way to restart events that had been put on hold since the start of the COVID 19 Pandemic.
The show not only featured the 2 day EMMA Competition but a display of some of our EMMA Philippines Industry Partners, featuring cars from Lightning Lab, DD Audio and SO Audio, DS18, GroundZero, as well as the Philippine debut to the new Alpine F1 Status system.
The most number of spectators was seen on the competition days from April 8 to 9, Friday and Saturday, as the event also became a reunion of sorts for all industry partners and competitors alike who had not seen each other over the course of the past 2 years. The competition itself was split into two days, with competition cars displayed at the entrance to the main hall of the Manila International Auto Show. Just under 60 entries from 30 cars were shown over the course of the two day competition.
Awards were given on the 2nd day, where the full impact of the activity was in display, with EMMA occupying a large portion of the North Tent where the EMMA booth was located. A huge thank you to all of our industry partners for weathering the storms of 2019 up to 2022, and we look forward to a renewed interest in the competition series in the next coming months.
