EMMA Philippines has begun its activities again in the country, with a focus now on bring events that bring up the industry as a whole. In April, we wrapped up the season finale of the cut-short 2019 season together with the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) at Pasay City. The partnership we have built with MIAS will continue as we are proud to annouce that our season finale for 2022 will again be held in conjunction with the Manila International Auto Show in 2023.

Judges Training
For the rest of the 2022 season, EMMA philippines is currently coordinating with our industry partners, and we are proud to announce that we will begin the training schedules for new judges.
Our Judges training program will be improved for the 2022 season moving forward. Training will be a 2 day session of classroom with some practical tests (examination). The cost will be PhP 15,000.00 per participant. However, the full course must be completed to receive the “International Judge” Certification. This includes:
- Completion of the day training seminar with a passed written examination
- Attendance at at least 1 EMMA Philippines Event to shadow judge alongside our active judges to test understanding and comprehension of judging. The shadow judging is also a test. Installation must score the same as the active judge. For sound quality, judge must exhibit thorough understanding and similar scoring to active judges (there is no expectation to score exactly the same).
- Certification to be awarded at the Philippine finals, and judge will be added to active judge list
- Active Judges moving forward will only need to attend the Update Meeting for active judges to maintain “judge” status.
Competitors Training
Competitors Training for the 2022 season is Free of Charge, and held prior to Every regular EMMA competition in the 2022 Season. Venue and exact timing to be annouced together with announcement for each event. The competitors training is a forum for all who are interested about EMMA competition to ask away any questions they may have about competing in EMMA, and a venue for us to share with you how to compete in our competitions. We are able to provide these free trainings thanks to our training sponsors Alpine and D’amore Engineering.
