EMMA Phillipines finally held its first event in Davao City at the Crocodile Farm, a busy family theme park in the heart of the Countries largest city in Mindanao. Cars from as far as Dumaguete and Zamboanga travelled more than 24 hours to join our first event in Mindanao. We are very happy to see the bustling and growing car audio scene here in the south, with over 40 entries joining the first ever EMMA competition in Mindano.
A mixture of cars in all categories were seen, with an above average appreciation displayed for sound quality and ESQL. If for anything, these developments will make for a very interesting next few years as this event should capture the attention of more enthusiast in mobile media. Vehicles were fully outfitted with not just an almost full line up of our sponsor related merchandise and products, but also of other industry participants, which is always an encouraging sign to see. We look forward to returning next year, perhaps with even more entries, and an expanded judging team to help share and grow the market further.
