Have you ever wanted to try competing in EMMA but found our rules a bit too much? We’re now offering a new set of competition classes called “EMMA Lite” for true beginners to the EMMA Competition scene through our partnership with the Carmavens carshow.
Simplified EMMA Lite classes will still use the official EMMA Media and scoresheets for sound, with no points for installation!
Categories and Classes
- Loud and Clear (Non-Wall) – Full ESQL Sound judging (No bonus points), no meter, no installation. Only cars not classified as Wall are permitted in this category, with further subdivision by vehicle type. (No Car Audio Professional registered vehicles allowed)
- Loud and Clear (Wall) – Full ESQL Sound judging (No bonus points), no meter, no installation. Subwoofer Installs following EMMA B/R are permitted in this category, with further subdivision by vehicle type. (No Car Audio Professional registered vehicles allowed)
- Extreme – Full ESQL Sound judging (No bonus points), no meter, no installation. No restriction on installs in this category, with further subdivision by vehicle type. (Car Audio Professional registered vehicles allowed)
- Sound Quality Intermediate – simplified EMMA Entry Sound Scoresheet (Imaging points for Left and Right Only) (No Car Audio Professional registered vehicles allowed)
- Sound Quality Pro – Full EMMA Entry Sound Scoresheet (No Car Audio Professional registered vehicles allowed)
- Best Audio Installation, Wildest Audio Modification, Audio/Visual Presentation – EMMA Entry Install Scoresheet with Unlimited Bonus Points (bonus points awarded for aspects of the install that attract a crowd)
